SUMMARY:Hatton's Ferry Ride
DESCRIPTION:So I’ve been wanting to do this ride for a while now.  Hatton’s Ferry is the last poled ferry in America that crosses the James River south of Charlottesville.  We’ll meet at the Golden Corral\, 2324 Chesapeake Square Ring Rd\, Chesapeake\, VA  23321\, at 8:30ish with ksu at 9:00am.  The route out is ~ 170 miles and 4 hours so plan on all day out and back. \nYou can find out more information about the ferry here. \n“Hatton Ferry” asks for donations of $5 per person and $10 per vehicle to ride the ferry. All donations go towards the upkeep\, maintenance and continuation of the running of the ferry. \nThe Hatton Ferry is owned and operated by “Hatton Ferry”\, a non-profit group consisting of members from Albemarle and Buckingham Counties. \n \nDownload the route file in GPX format

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year to go the extra mile and show the one’s you love that you really care\, and of course get a motorcycle ride in…..  We are riding out to the Post Office in Valentines VA to post our missives to those that are special in our lives.  Bring your cards and your friends cards\, but please purchase your postage at the post office in Valentines.  It helps them stay in business\, but either way they will post stamp your card with all the fancy angels etc.  They close at noon\, so the plan is to get there by 11:00am and then head to lunch in Emporia.  With that in mind ksu at 8:00am\, Meeting at the first BP on Rt. 460 off the 58 bypass.  The address is 2872 Pruden Blvd Suffolk VA 23434. \n \nDownload GPX File Here: \n
