Old former member stopping in to say hello
Greetings! My name is Eddy Alvarez and around 20 years ago, I was a member of your club. Back then, I was a broke student who had saved up enough pennies to buy my dream bike, a brand new silk blue K75S. I paid $8,600 for that bike, which was a small fortune to me back then! I fondly remember riding around with you all around HR, and especially during those weekend trips up to the Highland Inn in Monterrey with Bill Burns on this red K1100RS, Kenny and Deloris from Pungo on their airhead, John Hornbeck on his RT and a few other members whos names escape me now.
I really enjoyed riding with you all. A lot has changed during the last 20 years. The K75S was sadly sold; however, I still ride and I now live in Richmond with the same wife that I had back then, and two new additions, one of which now rides as well.
I was hoping to find out how my old riding friends in Hampton Roads are doing, if they are still riding and where the last 20 years has taken them.
